Perhaps, this trip to Dubai – our most spontaneous trip: the visas issued in a couple of hours, the exclusive offer from hotel on booking and we already land in Dubai International Airport. It’s impossible not to fall in love with Dubai, the city charms since the first minutes: skyscrapers in the desert, beaches in the neighborhood with a ski complex, luxury shops, artificial islands – the city where traditions are so closely intertwined with the present.

This time we decided to depart from a usual route and plan of the trip and enjoy the city and rest. And  the report of our travel I will begin with the story about… shops! Despite a large number of shops, shopping centers, boutiques, for a long time The Dubai Mall stays ideal place for shopping for me – the largest shopping center in the world, which area more than 1,2 million m²! The world’s largest indoor “gold market”, the thematic park SEGA, the first Galeries Lafayette department store in the Middle East, an aquarium with 33 000 inhabitants, Olympic-sized ice rink – sounds invitingly, agree? Separately, I should mention Level Shoes District – 9 000 square meters, 40 boutiques, more than 250 designers and Vogue cafe in the center of this shoe paradise.

Having finished shopping, we decided that this time we simply obliged to visit Burj Khalifa – the highest skyscraper in the world. Tickets can be got on the official site or directly in Dubai Mall, but I advise it to make in advance. Burj Khalifa – a 828 meter skyscraper with the observation desk on the 124th floor, which you climb for 40 seconds. The tower offers an extraordinary view, but even more amazed when you find out what the city was and what it has become now.
Having admired the city from the height of the bird’s flight we went to look at not less spectacular representation: The Dubai Fountain. The biggest musical Fountain in the world strikes not only the size and technical characteristics, but also musical compositions, lighting effects and show!
